Itinerary
The journey
DAY 1
Into the Golden Forest
07:00 departure from Tbilisi by comfortable minivan. 10:00 arrival at the visitor centre, registration and briefing. 11:00 begin the hike through the golden autumn forest. 14:00 nature lunch stop. 18:00 camp or accommodation in the national park cottage or tents. 19:30–22:00 listen to the deer rut, taste 100% local natural products and drink forest herbal tea by the campfire.
DAY 2
Morning Rut & Mountain Views
06:30 early wake-up, when deer activity peaks. 09:00 breakfast and camp packing. 10:30 continue the hiking route with scenic views across the park. 16:00 finish the hike, descend from the mountains and optionally relax in sulfur baths. 20:00 return to Tbilisi.
